The death occurred with family by his side, at the Halifax Infirmary, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, of Brian Cole, son of the of the late Sterling and Sandra (Hetherington) Cole, of Mayfield, aged 54.

Brian is survived by his sisters, Karen Duffy (Craig) and Tammy; nephews and nieces, Steven, Haylie, Brenna, Matthew and Cole; grand-nephews, Konner and Kaleb; and aunts, Liz and Carol.

Besides his parents, Brian was predeceased by brother, Kelly.

Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow for funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Springbrook.

A service of celebration for the life of Brian Cole, of Mayfield, was held on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow. The service was conducted by Pastor Chris Gallant and the organist was Edith Ling. Scripture readings were selected verses from Ecclesiastes 3, Psalm 103 and John 14. Words of remembrance were prepared by sister, Tammy Coles and read by Pastor Gallant. Pastor Gallant offered words of prayer and comfort in his message. The congregational hymns were “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. The bearer of honour was Tammy Cole. Flower bearers were nephews. Interment took place in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Springbrook, where Pastor Gallant conducted the committal service.
