The death occurred peacefully with family at his side at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, on Sunday, October 30, 2022, of Mike LeClair, beloved husband of Carol LeClair (nee Gallant), formerly of North Rustico, aged 77.
Mike was the loving father of Joanne Barnett, Tammey Barnett, Michael Barnett (Tena Gormley) and Tracy Barnett (Donnie Whitehead).
He is also survived by his sisters, Diana Doucette (George) and Patricia Doucette (Art); and sisters-in-law, Cecelia and Chris.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Alice (Doucette) LeClair; parents-in-law, John Francis and Rose Gallant; and brothers, Kenneth and Roger.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for funeral service on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. There will be a visitation prior to the funeral beginning at 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. The service will be available for viewing on the Central Queen's Funeral Home Facebook page following the service. Interment will be held in Stella Maris Cemetery, North Rustico, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Michael LeClair, beloved husband of Carolyn LeClair (nee Gallant), of North Rustico, was held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow. The service was conducted by Pastor Chris Gallant who offered words of comfort and prayer in his message. The scripture readings included John 14 and Ecclesiastes 3, read by Pastor Chris. Heartfelt words of remembrance were written by daughter, Tammy, and read by Pastor Chris. The music was audio recordings of “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art” by Allan Jackson. Interment took place on Thursday, November 4, 2022, in the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, North Rustico, where Father Albin Arsenault conducted the committal service.
