The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, surrounded by family on Thursday, November 3, 2022, of Hal MacWilliams, of Borden-Carleton, age 66.

He was the son of the late Lloyd and Marion (Dawson) MacWilliams.

Hal is survived by his sisters, Gayle (Carl) Willis, Mona (Garth, deceased) Willis, Marilyn (Roger) Bernard, Ginny (Aart Veldhoven) Stoddart and Erna (Tommy, deceased) Cullen; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow. There will be no visitation or funeral by personal request. A graveside service will be held on November 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Cape Traverse Community Cemetery (Free Church of Scotland) for family and friends, to be followed by a reception at the Borden Legion.

If so desired, memorial donations to the Palliative Home Care Program, or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
