The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, of Louise Peters, of North Rustico, aged 65. She was the beloved daughter of Eleanor Peters and the late James “Roy” Peters.

Louise will be lovingly remembered by her son, Colin Roy Peters; siblings, Louis (Charlene), Charlene MacDougall (Don), Rusty (Wendy), Kent (Dena), Jeffrey; and numerous nieces , nephews and friends.

Besides her father Roy, Louise was predeceased by her sister, Tracey Marie Peters.

Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery, North Rustico.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

The funeral for Louise Peters was held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow. The service was conducted by Reverend Brendon Gallant who offered prayer and comfort in his message. The first reading from Isaiah, was rendered by Tamira Axworthy. The second reading from Philippians, was rendered by Melinda Peters. Prayers of the faithful were read by Judy Gallant. Words of remembrance were shared by Christine Paynter. The bearer of honour was Colin Peters. Interment took place in the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Cemetery, North Rustico, where Reverend Gallant conducted the committal service.
